Stacy Kimmel ND, PhD, LEHP
Dr. Stacy Kimmel is a highly respected leader in the field of natural medicine, with over 30 years of experience in holistic health, functional nutrition, and integrative healing. As the Co-Founder and Co-Owner of the American Association of Natural Wellness Practitioners (AANWP) and the American Association of Natural Wellness Coaches (AANWC), and the Treasurer of Guardian Ecclesiastical Holistic Association (GEHA), Dr. Stacy has been instrumental in setting high standards for practitioner education and certification.
Holding a Ph.D. in Natural Medicine, he is a board-certified Natural Medicine Practitioner (CNMP) through Texas Chiropractic College and a licensed GEHA Ecclesiastical Holistic Practitioner (LEHP). He and his wife, Nicole, own and operate Thriveology, a holistic health center in Sarasota, FL, where they help clients achieve lasting wellness through functional nutrition, homeopathy, botanical medicine, rehabilitative fitness, and holistic healing strategies.
Dr. Stacy is also a scientific advisor for leading nutritional supplement brands, contributing to the development of high-quality, evidence-based formulations. A sought-after speaker and educator, he has lectured at major health conferences, including the Missouri State Chiropractic Association (MSCA) license renewal program and the NAVEL Expo in Long Island, NY. Nicole Kimmel PhD

Dr. Michael Gaeta DAOM, MS, CDN
Dr. Michael Gaeta’s purpose is to co-create a world of vital, resilient people who choose a lifestyle of “nature first, drugs last.” To accomplish this, he treats patients with Chinese and functional medicine, and helps natural health professionals upgrade their patient care and practice success. His teaching is informed by 34 years of successful clinical practice.
Michael holds licenses in acupuncture, dietetics-nutrition, and massage therapy. He is also an herbalist, and a doctor of acupuncture and Oriental medicine in Rhode Island. He earned his Master of Science degree in acupuncture from the New York College of Health Professions, where he was a faculty member for ten years. He holds additional degrees in massage therapy, Asian bodywork therapy, and health sciences.

Prof. Raphael Nyarkotey Obu, ESQ, PhD
Prof. Raphael Nyarkotey Obu is a distinguished Ghanaian naturopath, lawyer, and academic, pioneering the integration of traditional and complementary medicine with law and healthcare policy in Africa. He is the President of Nyarkotey University College of Holistic Medicine and Technology, Ghana’s first naturopathic medical school. A trailblazer in the field, he led the development of Ghana’s first national occupational standards for naturopathy and holistic medicine at the HND and BTech levels under the Commission for TVET.
Prof. Obu holds an LLB from the University of Cape Coast, a Barrister at Law(BL) from the Gambia Law School, and is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Superior Courts of The Gambia. He also possesses an MBA from Accra Business School, a PhD in Naturopathy and Healthcare Science from UNEM. He is the first naturopath in Africa to qualify as a lawyer, leveraging his legal expertise to advocate for regulatory reforms in traditional and complementary medicine.
As the General Secretary of the Ghana Alternative Medical Practitioners Associations (GAMPA) and Legal Director of the Traditional Healers Association of The Gambia (TRAHASS), he has been instrumental in policy advocacy, and also a research advocate for the World Naturopathic Federation (WNF), in Canada.
Prof. Obu is a Chartered Health Economist and Chartered Management Consultant, deeply involved in healthcare policy, ADR in medical litigation, and research on naturopathic treatments.
He has expanded naturopathic education in Africa, and forming the Gambia Society of Naturopathy. His influence has led to greater government recognition of traditional healers, including clinical training opportunities at Ahmadiyya Hospital and policy discussions with President Adama Barrow.

Judy Masters PhD, BCDNM, LEHP
Judy is the Director of Student Services & Academic Standards at Kingdom College of Natural Health (KCNH). She was an instructor with Trinity School, from 2007-2023, where she was responsible for curriculum development and special projects, and taught the flower essence curriculum as well as naturopathic history, legalities, herbology, and business basics.
She holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in English, theatre, and secondary education, as well as professional credentials in Automotive Systems Engineering. Since 2000, she has earned designations in Bach Flowers, Herbology, Naturopathy, and recently completed her PhD with the KCNH AHPLEX program. Her original goal was to complete an Ed.D. to become a school superintendent but she does not regret changing paths. She states that she has gathered a broad range of experience and valuable education, and wouldn’t trade those for anything!
In her hometown of Logansport, Indiana, she owned a natural products, for 25 years. The store rebranded two years ago and is now dba GoodLife Vintage, featuring curated antique and vintage glassware, furniture, clothing, toys, curiosities and more. She and her husband own two older homes. The one in which they live is Judy’s family home, built in 1920. The other, where they previously resided, is an 1880s Queen Anne, being prepared to sell to another historic preservation enthusiast! Both homes are designated historic and are on the local and national registers.
Judy and her husband, Rick, have been active in humane rescue efforts for several decades. They are recognized locally for their success with Bulldog rescue and have accepted nine surrenders, since 1995. They rework diet, hydration, supplementation and enzymes, emotions, and provide general holistic support, with the help of area veterinarians. Their success rate has been impressive, and they are currently loving caregivers and doggie parents to Norm, an Olde English Bulldogge, who was surrendered to the local shelter at just nine months of age (now just four years old.)
Since mid-2019, Judy has been actively involved in tutoring and mentoring students and graduates in the natural health field. She has served as an academic advisor and contributor to the ANWPB Natural Medicine/Naturopathic exam. Shawn Pourgol MBA, DC, DO, DN, PhD
Dr. Shawn Pourgol’s outstanding education and accomplishments began in 1989 when he attended Eastern High School of Commerce Canada, and became the Ontario scholar of 1989. In his continuous pre-doctoral education at Ryerson University in Applied Chemistry and Biology, he managed to obtain the highest academic average of 97% (A+) between 11,000 university students, for which he was rewarded with the Merit Award, by Honorable David Peterson, the premier of Province of Ontario in Canada. Subsequently, Dr. Pourgol was accepted in 1991 to the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College where he finished with a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) Degree in 1995 and resigned in 2014. He has post graduate training in physical rehabilitation, sports medicine, clinical ergonomics, business management (MBA), work related injuries, and manual osteopathy; including a DOMP (Diploma in Osteopathic Manual Practice), and a DO (Doctor of Osteopathy).
In addition to his work as a Canadian Osteopathic Manual Practitioner & Naprapath, he is the Founder & President of the National Academy of Osteopathy (Canada), National University of Medical Sciences (USA, Spain, Panama), California Health University (Los Angeles) & Seville University of Health & Medicine (Spain). He is also founder of the non-profit, charity based Pourgol Osteopathy Chronic Pain Hospital in Panama that offers free osteopathic and naprapathic care and the Pourgol Osteopathy Chronic Pain Research Center in Spain. In 2017, Dr. Pourgol founded the Osteopathy Chronic Pain Clinics of Canada in Toronto (Ontario) which currently operates over 378 clinics in 34 countries. He is currently serving as president of the Asociación de Osteopatía de Panamá and the Canadian Union of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners.
In 2012, Dr. Pourgol founded June 22nd as the World Osteopathy Day. It is his goal to expand the professions of manual osteopathy across the world, so everyone can have access to osteopathic chronic pain management.
Jericho Leftwich BCDNM, MPH, BCHHP, BCHP, CMH
Jericho Leftwich is a Board Certified Holistic Health & Homeopathic Practitioner, Certified Master Herbalist, & Naturopathic Reiki Master. He is also a Public Health Practitioner with focus areas in infectious diseases, program management, and system building using the Collective Impact Model. He started his career in healthcare as a Certified Nursing Assistant working on a surgical unit and with geriatric patients in an assisted living facility. He later transitioned into emergency medicine working as a Paramedic for several emergencies and non-emergency EMS companies.
After the completion of his Bachelor’s in Science in Biology- Allied Health he worked as a Microbiologist II performing enzyme-linked immunosorbent (EIA) for Hepatitis A, B, C, and HIV using Bio-Rad EVOLIS and Genotyping. After his Master’s in Public Health-Epidemiology, Jericho managed teams of Senior Public Health Investigators that provided social support services and linkage to care to justice-involved individuals who were reintegrating back into society. Ann Shivas M.T., D.O.(MP)
Ann Shivas, the visionary behind Life Lift, embodies a blend of rural roots and a passion for holistic living. Raised on a farm, she developed a deep appreciation for nature’s offerings. Initially drawn to the world of sports, Ann pursued a career in professional soccer until injuries redirected her path toward a profound journey of self-discovery.
Her academic journey reflects her multifaceted approach to personal growth. Ann earned a Bachelor’s in Arts, followed by a Master of Teaching, before delving into holistic health with a Diploma of Osteopathy. Reed Davis, Board Certified Holistic Health Practitioner (HHP) and Certified Nutritional Therapist (CNT), is an expert in functional lab testing and holistic lifestyle medicine. He is the Founder of Functional Diagnostic Nutrition® (FDN) and the FDN Certification Course with over 3000 graduates in 50 countries. Dr. WaiFung Tsang
Hailing from Hong Kong, WaiFung is a Clinical Psychologist with years of clinical experience primarily in the field of addiction, neurodevelopment and trauma, exhibiting a keen interest in psychedelic research. Currently based at the Maudsley Hospital, King’s College London, he has been working as a core member of the Onaya Science team as a researcher statistician and psychologist for a number of years. With a particular focus on Indigenous Amazonian traditions, he has supported projects exploring ceremonial use of Ayahuasca in the rainforest for mental health as funded by the British Medical Research Council, as well as working alongside Heroic Hearts, an organization using psychedelic treatments supporting veterans with PTSD. WaiFung is also an avid musician who enjoys honing sound-healing techniques, and does psychedelic harm reduction work with UK based charity PsyCare.
Darryl Roberts ND
Darryl Roberts, ND, is a board certified naturopathic doctor, having studied at Trinity School of Natural Health. He’s also a Certified Plant-Based Professional, studying at the Rouxbe Cooking School and uses food as an integrative tool for overall wellness. As an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, he’s studied under instructors including Joshua Rosenthal and Deepak Chopra at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, incorporating their wealth of knowledge into his own approach to natural health and wellness. Shirell Is a lifelong resident of coastal Louisiana. She is a grandmother and small business owner of Dardar’s Bayou Plant Nursery, LLC, where she educates clients about natural wellness and environmental responsibility. She serves as Elder Chief of her Tribe the Grand Caillou/Dulac Band of Biloxi-Chitimacha-Choctaw following her fifteen years of service as Traditional Chief. She is a founding member of the First People’s Conservation Council of Louisiana, currently serving as President. She was elected the first Chairwoman of the Louisiana Governor’s Office of Indian Affairs Native American Commission, serving four years and served as the Indigenous Representative of the Louisiana Governor’s Climate Initiatives Task Force. She was selected for the 2021 docuseries, National Geographic Presents: IMPACT with Gal Gadot, episode 5 “Killer Red Fox”. An Ordained Minister of the Universal Life Church, traditional dressmaker, and a published author. She is an active advocate for community resiliency, inclusion of Traditional Ecological Knowledge, education, environmental and living being rights.
Dr. Michael D. Fortun NMD, MD-(Acu)
Dr. Fortun is a Registered/Board Certified Naturopathic Practitioner, Board Certified Holistic Health Practitioner, Board Certified Alternative Medical Practitioner and the owner of Urban Living Naturopathic Medicine and Acupuncture Clinic. He is also a Resident Doctor at Panchrest Wellness Clinic.
His love and passion of Natural Medicine began during childhood when he personally observed his grandfather take care of sick people in their community, using the traditional treatment using local herbal plants as medicine, without expecting monetary return. His humanitarian acts had a big impact on my life.
In College, Dr. Fortun took up his Pre-Med course in one of the leading Medical Schools in the region. After that he continued his dream of becoming a Natural Medicine Practitioner, so he pursued his Bachelors in Naturopathy, Yogic Science and Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (Naturopathy). Later, he added Clinical Acupuncture to his practice and obtained the Doctor of Medicine in Acupuncture.
Dr. Fortun joined the Fellowship on Acupuncture/Natural and Alternative Medicine through The Royal Institutions/Higher Education Singapore and they awarded him the Grade-Fellow Royal Institute of Acupuncture (FRIAcu), Fellow Royal Institute of Natural Medicine (FRINMD) and Fellow Royal Institute of Alternative Medicine (FRIAMD).
In addition to his many educational accomplishments, he spends time serving his community as a volunteer at the National Center for Geriatric Health, to promote proper care and pain management for Rheumatoid Arthritis, Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s; using Natural Medicine Modalities and Acupuncture.
Dr. Fortun is the Honorary President of the Royal Institute of Natural Medicine in Manila Philippines to help unite natural medicine practitioners in the community, promote wellness in every home and to teach people how to take care of Mother Nature. Olivia Braglin is a licensed Ecclesiastical Holistic Practitioner (LEHP) with GEMA (Guardian Ecclesiastical Medical Association) and is a board certified Naturopathic Practitioner through the American Association of Natural Wellness Practitioners (AANWP). She is also a Certified Holistic Health Practitioner (CHHP), and a Certified Natural Health Professional (CNHP) from Trinity School of Natural Health. Olivia has prior healthcare experience working in diagnostic cardiac imaging, cardiovascular rehabilitation and pulmonary rehabilitation. She has worked in both outpatient and inpatient hospital settings. Her true passion lies within natural health and she has made it the focus of her professional career. Dr. Vanessa Milagro Leon-Sulca, MBBS (MD), BA, MA
Dr. Vanessa Leon is a multifaceted Medical Doctor and Psychotherapist with profound expertise in Ayurvedic traditional medicine and psychedelic therapies, particularly Ayahuasca. She is a passionate advocate for the preservation and revitalization of ancestral and traditional medical systems, recognizing them as valid scientific models of medicine. Of Andean Quechua heritage and originally from Peru, Vanessa has deeply immersed herself in Peruvian shamanic traditions. She received her medical training at Barts and The London School of Medicine, UK, following a rich and diverse career path in several disciplines.
Before her medical training, Vanessa worked as a Chartered Accountant and Internal Auditor in London, holding a BA in International Relations and Political Science from Boston University. Her career shift was inspired by a personal battle with rheumatoid arthritis, which led her to explore alternative healing methods that ultimately transformed her health and life. Today, she integrates this knowledge into her private practice, Gnosis Clinic, where she blends conventional medicine with traditional healing systems. Antonio Colasurdo DO(MP), BCMO
I am a registered Osteopathic Manual Practitioner with the Canadian Association of Therapists in Complementary Medicine and I also hold a fellowship with the Osteopathy Chronic Pain Clinics of Canada. I specialize in the structural branch of manual osteopathy, making me a specialist in human biomechanics and chronic pain management. I hold diplomas in Osteopathic Manual Practice, Naturopathy, Nutritional Therapy and Food Science; among others. I am part owner of Montreal Fitness Trainers and work as a consultant for Action Sport Physio. I am also authorized to supervise manual osteopathic students during their clinical internships. It was my love of this profession that inspired me to pursue further education and begin working toward a doctorate degree in manual osteopathy; which I’m currently completing.

Dr. Simon Ruffell
Dr Simon Ruffell is trained across three modalities: Western medicine (medical doctor specialising in psychiatry), research psychology (with a PhD in ayahuasca and mental health), and traditional plant medicine (student of curanderismo). He has worked on several major clinical trials investigating the therapeutic potential of psychedelics at leading universities worldwide, including at King’s College London exploring the effects of psilocybin on treatment-resistant depression. Since 2016 his work has been primarily dedicated to exploring the traditional psychedelic brew ayahuasca. He is CEO of Onaya Health and co-founded the not-for-profit Onaya Science, researching the effects of ayahuasca in naturalistic Amazonian settings in collaboration with universities, charities, and think tanks worldwide. Simon’s work seeks to understand plants such as ayahuasca from both an Indigenous and a Western viewpoint, with the goal of generating a richer understanding of healing modalities. He is currently training in Shipibo Shamanism under Keyo Sui Rono and Don Rono Lopez.
Oscar Coetzee PhD, MS, DCN
Dr. Oscar Coetzee was born and raised in South Africa, where he completed his military schooling and bachelor’s degree with majors in criminology and psychology. A formidable force on the golf course, he reached national amateur colors as one of the highest-ranked amateur golfers in South Africa.
Dr. Coetzee began his professional career at Fair Oaks Hospital in Summit, N.J., where he served as a drug counselor, suicide intervention advisor, and co-dependency specialist for two years. In 2006, Dr. Coetzee joined forces with Dr. James Proodian at Natural Healthcare Center in Long Branch, N.J., where he currently serves as the Nutrition Department’s Clinical Director. His specialties are metabolic syndrome, intestinal permeability, weight loss resistance, type 2 diabetes, sports performance enhancement and irritable bowel syndrome.
Dr. Coetzee developed his own Golf Performance Enhancement Division (The Golfologist, LLC), which includes nutritional, psychological and genetic assessment to optimize golf performance. He currently works with top-level Club Professional Golfers, Mini-Tour Professionals, LPGA members, International Asian and European Tour Players and some of the leading junior and amateur players in the country.
Dr. Coetzee joined the faculty at Maryland University of Integrative Health as an associate professor where he received the Great Esteem Award for his dedication and devotion to student performance and their academic evolvement.
Dr. Coetzee is currently a faculty member at the University of Bridgeport and the Associate Director of the Nutrition Tract in the Doctor of Health Science Degree. This degree is at the cutting edge of nutritional evidence-based science and the development of nutritional intervention protocols for various chronic diseases. Dr. Coetzee’s drive and motivation as the head of this program is to evolve the critical thinking of the nutrition specialist and truly bring nutrition intervention through science into the medical literature. Courses he currently teaches include Clinical Nutrition, Sports Nutrition, Pathophysiology, Advanced Nutritional Biochemistry and Assessment, Functional Lab Assessment, and Organizational Development. Dr. Coetzee spearheaded the “virtual clinic” design of the Human Nutrition program at UB, a unique online “clinic” experience for students that set the standards for online learning and experiential experience.
Dr. Coetzee is a Certified Board Supervisor for the CNS (Certified Nutrition Specialists) and is currently on the national board exam committee for the National Association of Nutritional Professionals (NANP). He also served as legislative chair for the NANP from 2009 to 2011.
